Enjoy beach sports on Brighton beach

Brighton & Hove, East Sussex

Brighton beach is famously full of pebbles, but at Yellowave there is plenty of sand making it the place to go for all kinds of beach sports.

From the classic volleyball to less well-known games such as footvolley and ultimate frisbee, all beach sports can be played here. Yellowave was the first venue in the UK to offer games of beach tennis.

If you’ve never played before then pop down and join a class or book a taster session. There are activities suitable for all the family, including children from the age of six.

And if all the action gets a bit too much then head into the centre’s Barefoot Café and simply enjoy being by the sea.
