Classic English countryside cycling

Hambleden, Buckinghamshire

Explore charming English countryside from Henley-on-Thames to Hambleden Valley on a hired electric bike.

Hire a bike from one of the many cycle hire points, such as Hurley Riverside Park or Chiltern Valley Winery and Brewery, and head into the Chiltern Hills to take in the breath-taking views and stunning scenery.

Start from the Chiltern Winery and Brewery and cycle towards Turville, who some may recognise from the popular TV series the Vicar of Dibley.

From there, take a short walk (or cycle if you don’t mind the exercise) up Turville Hill to see the windmill featured in the legendary film, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Recharge your batteries (and your bikes if needed!) at one of the many charging points.

These are mainly located in pubs in Hambleden, Stoner, Middle Assendon and Watlington. Complete the loop or head to another hire point to return your bike.
