July events: Y Not Festival

The Peak District sets the stage for one of the UK’s fastest-growing music festivals. Originally set up as a big garden party by a group of school friends in 2005, Y Not started with 500 attendees, doubled its attendance each year for the first few years and now brings in headline acts to play for a sizeable audience of lucky ticket holders.

The festival’s luscious location in the Peak District provides plenty of food and drink options; a Cider and Ale festival on-site, a whisky bar, a beach-themed cocktail bar and food stalls for meat lovers, veggies and vegans add an extra layer to the music fest.

Y Not Festival 2022 takes place between 29 and 31 July.
