Enjoy Afternoon Tea with a twist in Windsor

Windsor, Berkshire

Indulge in the quintessentially English tradition of afternoon tea from a wooden river boat, or whilst dressed in your best vintage clobber this spring.

The tradition of taking Afternoon Tea was reputedly introduced by Anna Maria, seventh Duchess of Bedford, in the early 1840’s, and it has been a popular pastime ever since. But now you can take tea in a variety of unique ways.

Climb on board a restored 100 year old wooden River boat and tuck into a delicious Afternoon Tea as you float down Cliveden reach; enjoy dainty sandwiches, scones and fancies served on vintage china at The Savill Garden, and chocoholics can indulge with the Valrhona Chocolate Afternoon Tea, where a range of chocolate delicacies will be on offer.
