Britain’s longest marked footpath, the South West Coast Path, covers 630 miles of coast around the West Country and is guaranteed to give even the most determined rambler’s boots a good pounding. 

The section of path along the South Devon coast is one of the most picturesque, and is well worth a visit as part of a holiday in South Devon. Whether you plan to walk the entire South Devon coast or would just like to find a place to spot dolphins, basking sharks and coastal wildlife, the South Devon Coast Path gives you the chance to discover a huge range of natural and social history, as well as rocky headlands, hidden coves and sandy beaches all waiting to be discovered.
