Visit The Mayflower Steps & Museum

Plymouth, Devon

Stand with your own feet on the Mayflower Steps, which mark the approximate location from which the Pilgrim Fathers embarked upon The Mayflower for the final time, in the year 1620.

16 million Americans can trace their roots back to the Mayflower’s famous voyage to the New World which set sail from the Barbican in Plymouth UK with just 102 passengers and crew on board. 2020 will mark the 400 year anniversary of the sailing of the Mayflower from Plymouth UK to Plymouth Massachusetts.

Follow the Mayflower Trail and visit the historic, authentic Elizabethan House and Gardens, as well as the Merchant’s House and Museum taking you back to the time of The Pilgrim Fathers and Sir Francis Drake.

The Mayflower Museum, set over three floors, explores the story of the voyage of the Pilgrim Fathers and their journey aboard the Mayflower to the New World.
