Let Plymouth bring out your adventurous streak

Plymouth, Devon

Plymouth provides the perfect place for adventurers, with water sports, scuba diving, climbing walls, cycle paths, walks and boat trips.

Visit the Plymouth Life Centre and see where Olympic divers Tom Daley and Tonia Couch have trained. The centre has a fun pool, an Olympic-sized swimming pool and dive centre, climbing walls and bouldering rooms, providing perfect rainy day activities to entertain the family with.

If you are a fan of winter sports, Plymouth also boasts an artificial ski slope and indoor ice rink to practice on come rain or shine.

Being by the sea there are lots of water sports available, with opportunities to get out on the water by boat, kayak or paddleboard. For the more adventurous, Plymouth is renowned for its scuba diving and is home to England's first artificial wreck HMS Scylla, which is home to many different species of marine life.
