It’s hard to believe this monumental country house surrounded by more than 2,000 acres of Capability Brown landscaped parkland and formal gardens was a gift. The nation bestowed it to John Churchill, following his military triumph at the Battle of Blenheim.

The setting is stunning. A range of history-laden meetings and events rooms can hold functions as varied as conferences, exhibitions and drinks receptions. Features such as double vaulted ceilings, dripping chandeliers and parkland views set the scene. Drinks can be held among the sparkling fountains of the Water Terraces, and guests can even be greeted in the State Rooms by a fanfare of trumpeters.

Tailored teambuilding events include a James Bond-style assignment that will have everyone facing adversity with confidence.

More traditional English country pursuits on offer include trout fishing in the estate’s lake, archery and falconry – all complimented with deluxe picnic hampers for the team to refuel.
