Grade I-listed 16th-century buildings and cutting-edge architecture are on offer with York Conferences at the University of York.

For traditional surroundings, The Kings Manor is a building of great historical significance and is equipped for up to 90 delegates in the panelled Huntingdon Room. Set in York city centre by Museum Gardens, the Manor is said to have been host to notable names of the monarchy including King Charles I and Henry VIII.

Back to present day, tiered auditoriums in striking contemporary buildings can host large conferences. For networking and exhibitions there is a flexible space overlooking the lake, all complimented by award-winning catering and a dedicated conference coordinator.

York University’s subject specialist areas are in green chemistry, atmospheric chemistry, medicinal chemistry and solar energy. They were awarded the Athena SWAN Charter, which recognises commitment to advancing women's careers in science.
