The Guildhall in Cambridge
Cambridge, Cambridgeshire
The Guildhall in Cambridge is the city’s premier civic venue for events.
With a history dating back almost 800 years, the site of Cambridge’s Guildhall, in the centre of the city, has seen the changes of time and developments over the centuries.
Originally a private house before being granted to the city by King Henry II for use as a jail, the venue was then demolished, became the city’s headquarters, had wings, domes and libraries added, before finally being entirely redeveloped in 1930s.
As it stands today there are two separate unique event sections named the Large Hall and the Small Hall.
The Large Hall makes an impressive conference venue and can easily accommodate 40 exhibition stands and can seat up to 400.
The Small Hall is a beautiful space flooded with natural light that can accommodate 200 delegates or up to 15 exhibition stands.
