The Templeborough steelworks was reputed to be a mile long and employed 10,000 people at its peak in the mid-20th century. Now transformed into an award-winning venue with purpose-built conference facilities, the colossal space offers a blank canvas for every type of event.

Dinners for 800, conferences for 1,500 and concerts for 3,500 can all be accommodated. The Big Hall, Magna Arena, Face of Steel and Pavilions are all flexible spaces with stunning backdrops. Impressive industrial relics such as hulking hooks, cupolas and cranes are still in position around the site and can be easily integrated into your events.

The Magna Centre’s hi-tech science park has a strong emphasis on gadgets and fun. Teambuilding can take off with bungee jumping, zip wires and abseiling on the site. A private tour with an ex-steelworker or a sound and light show can help bring the building’s history back to life.
