The Old Railway Station of Manchester Central
Manchester, Lancashire
Historic architecture and modern facilities merge at the world-renowned Manchester Central Convention Complex.
The Central Hall’s vaulted arches and railway station clock have made Manchester Central an iconic city feature for more than 130 years. The city’s flagship convention centre has recently developed into an award-winning complex of conference and exhibition facilities popular with political party conferences and association congresses, right in the city centre.
Every type of event will find its home among a wide spectrum of flexible halls and conference suites. Space for exhibitions range from 1,830 to 10,000 sq metres, with theatre-style seating for up to 8,000 and state-of-the-art meeting facilities for 40 to 4,000. There’s also a luxurious 804-seat auditorium on offer.
The complex is one of the first major conference and events venues in England to achieve ISO 20121 Event Sustainability. This international standard aims to boost the local economy and reduce impact on the environment.
