There’s no shortage of wet and wild watersports in the New Forest, from adrenalin-rush RIB rides to gentle paddles and luxury sunset sails.
Forget the New Forest’s fantastic walking routes, beautiful woods and wild ponies roaming free. It’s time to explore the area from the water. The Forest’s hidden gem is its 43 miles of glorious coastline.
Escape Yachting makes a skippered champagne cruise an affordable treat with sunset sails or discovery days, while the more adventurous can tour the Solent on a fast RIB or Sunseeker with Solent Events.
Closer to dry land, Beaulieu and historic shipbuilders’ haunt Buckler’s Hard are great for messing about on the river. Beaulieu is the home to New Forest Activities, which makes planning your water-based activities easy – choose from kayaking, canoeing, sea kayaking or raft building for all the family. Meanwhile, thrill seekers can head to the 50 acre New Forest Water Park which features the south coast’s first water-skiing and wakeboarding cable system, bound to excite even the biggest thrill seekers.
