Watch the sun set over the Thames as you dine al fresco

London

Explore the London borough of Richmond upon Thames and stay the night in a beautiful Georgian townhouse.

Step aboard the boat service between Westminster Pier and Richmond (runs April to October). Take the same route as the Royal Barge of King Henry VIII and other British monarchs, past the Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew, and under the oldest bridge still to cross the River Thames, Richmond Bridge.

Alight at Richmond and head straight for The Bingham boutique hotel and garden, boasting impressive river views. The restaurant holds 3 AA Rosettes and is best visited for summer al fresco dining.

After dinner, have a cocktail at the bar, and then retire to the River Double room to enjoy more of those riverside views.
