Visit Natureland to see how washed-up seal pups are nursed back into the wild. And there's far more to see besides.
Seals are a hardy bunch. But sometimes even they can get things wrong, and each year several pups get stranded on Lincolnshire's pretty but treacherous beaches. Enter Natureland, a sanctuary that cares for and feeds the pups until they can get back to the wild. Natureland's staff help nurse the seals back from the brink, and their work is viewable at every stage.
But there's more than seals at Natureland: penguins, fish and even meerkats call Skegness home. There's plenty else for kids too, from parties to educational sessions. And for a mum or dad in need of refreshment, Natureland's cafe offers a selection of food and drink. You might even want to adopt one of its doe-eyed inhabitants afterwards!
