Newcastle, Tyne and Wear

If the sound of free cinema and cheap drinks is up your street, then Tyneside Cinema’s free film night could be just thing.

Step inside of Newcastle’s most iconic and characteristic cinema; take in its charm, beautiful décor and personality without damaging the bank balance.

As the last surviving Newsreel theatre still operating as a cinema full-time in the UK, this Grade II-listed building is an important, must-see piece of heritage.

As well as playing a host of classic film and new releases, Tyneside cinema put on weekly free films in their bar.
These screenings are much more informal, you can buy drinks and snacks throughout, taking advantage of great offers and enjoying great cinema.

Themed week by week, the event is never one to disappoint and has seen such topics as Tom Hanks Week, Zombie Week, Woody Allen Week, Horror Week and more.
