Tuck into the World Pasty Championships at the Eden Project

Eden Project, Cornwall

What better way to celebrate St Piran’s Day, the National Day of Cornwall, than by chomping on a pasty or two at one of Cornwall’s most famous attractions.

Try pasties from the best bakers in Cornwall and beyond, enjoy live music and comedy performances and, of course, the hotly-anticipated championship itself, or as the locals call them, the ‘Oggy Oscars’, where world champions for different categories will the announced.

If you fancy your chances as a pasty pioneer, there’s an ‘open’ award category which welcomes more creative offerings. Insect pasty anyone?

Sign up and make your own or simply pay a visit to this March event to see what weird and wonderful entries await the judges this year.
