Treat yourself on a shopping break in Salisbury

Salisbury, Wiltshire

Enjoy a city break in Salisbury and shop in the city’s historic Market Place, with regular weekly markets, farmers markets and themed markets.

Salisbury has had a market charter dating back from medieval times and to this day still remains a popular shopping destination, with twice weekly markets, regular stalls and produce from local farmers, and a whole host of themed events.

Certain times of the year see the city host vintage markets, where you can pick up clothing or jewellery that you won’t find on the high street. Foodies will love the French, Italian and artisan markets too.

Once you’ve finished shopping, sit back and relax in one of the Market Place’s cafes or restaurants or explore close-by Salisbury Cathedral and the attractions within Cathedral Close, just a short walk away.
