Why not come to Scilly and sample some excitingly delicious wines made right here on the islands?
There aren't that many places in the UK that can host vineyards, but Scilly boasts two that are local family run - one on St. Mary's and one on St. Martin's. The harvesting of grapes begins in October, and wine making continues throughout the winter months - sorting, destorking, fermenting, filtering and bottling.
Take a trip to taste the delicious wines that a sub tropical climate can produce, and see the vineyards in action as they progress through the seasons.
