Transport yourself to the tropics at Stratford’s Butterfly Farm

Stratford-Upon-Avon, Warwickshire

Lush landscapes and hundreds of colourful creatures are waiting for you at the UK’s largest butterfly farm.

Paying a visit to Insect City might sound like something that only a cartoon hero might do, but at the Stratford-upon-Avon Butterfly Farm it’s all par for the course.

Indeed, don’t be surprised if you find yourself in an exotic rainforest surrounded by splashing water, tropical plants and around 1,500 butterflies – all of which are among the attractions here.

This is the largest tropical butterfly display in the UK, featuring over 250 different species from more than 20 countries. And if that’s not enough to satisfy your creepy crawly itch, then how about popping over to Arachnoland, where you can come face-to-face with the world’s biggest spider, a scorpion colony and lots more.
