Take in the views and afternoon tea in Wiltshire

Tisbury, Wiltshire

Build up an appetite with a walk through the picturesque Vale of Wardour before stopping for tea and a spot of cake in the pretty village of Tisbury.

Starting from the picturesque village of Tisbury, enjoy a walk through the beautiful Vale of Wardour to the ruins of Old Wardour Castle, site of two sieges during the Civil War and now under the care of English Heritage.

After all that fresh air, head back to Tisbury for a well-earned cup of tea. Within the village centre is Beatons Tea Room and Bookshop, which is inspired by the style of famed photographer Cecil Beaton.  Take your pick from a range of over 25 loose leaf teas and enjoy a slice of home-made cake, or indulge in a high tea, the most English of traditions.
