Southsea Seafront is transformed for a weekend into a hub of ultimate athletic activity for Portsmouth and Southsea Triathlon Festival.
Athletes will set off from Southsea beach for a 1500m swim in the sea between the Victorian South Parade Pier and Henry VIII's Tudor Southsea Castle.
Enter into transition at Castle Field before setting off on a 40km cycle route through some of the most iconic sights of Portsmouth including Portsmouth Historic Dockyard where you'll pass HMS Victory, the Mary Rose and HMS Warrior.
After your second transition you'll start a 10k route along Southsea promenade and the picturesque Old Portsmouth.
If you need a sit-down just thinking about that then head down to the race route, grab a snack and a coffee at one of the many restaurants, bars and cafes along the way and cheer on the triathletes.
