Get a taste of good homemade food and immerse yourself in local life at the historic White Hart pub.
Since being built in 1625, this Grade II listed building has been the site of a blacksmiths, a dancehall and a brewery (though probably not all at the same time). Now, though, this much-loved countryside pub serves locals and visitors with a few of its own homemade specialities.
If it’s summer, why not have a drink in the garden or on the terrace, or if it’s chilly, cosy down by the fire.
Whatever you do, don’t leave without choosing a White Hart pie from the pie board, or sampling one of the four local ales on tap. If you’re really getting into the community spirit, we recommend giving the locally brewed "White Gold" ale a try.
