August events: Sit under the stars at Summer Nights film screenings

Grab a blanket and watch a blockbuster film at Wollaton Hall's Summer Nights outdoor cinema.

Wollaton Hall famously starred as the setting for Wayne Manor in ‘The Dark Knight Rises’, so where better to enjoy a blockbuster than on the set of a Hollywood production?

Summer Nights film festival, which takes place towards the end of August, offers film buffs the chance to experience their favourite movies, with a twist. In the grounds of Wollaton Hall and Deer Park, award-winning films like A Star is Born, Bohemian Rhapsody and Purple Rain are projected onto an outdoor screen. So take a picnic, enjoy the warm weather and relax, as you’re entertained in stunning surroundings.
