This summer’s Grassington Festival in June is a popular two-week extravaganza in the Yorkshire Dales, with music, theatre, film, comedy and more.
Starting with a carnival parade, the Yorkshire market town of Grassington comes alive each summer for a colourful fortnight of live performances, visual arts and music.
Over the last two weeks of June, artists, bands and local people come together to collaborate in a series of live performances, ranging from music, dance and street theatre to workshops, talks, walks and creative challenges.
Much of the action takes place around the bustling cobbled market square, fringed by shops offering local foods, speciality gifts and arts and crafts.
