This popular two-week extravaganza in the Yorkshire Dales hosts big names from the worlds of music, theatre, film, comedy and more.
Starting with a carnival parade, the Yorkshire market town of Grassington comes alive each summer for a colourful fortnight of live performances, visual arts and music. Over the last two weeks of June, artists, bands and local people come together to collaborate in a series of live performances, ranging from music, dance and street theatre to workshops, talks, walks and creative challenges.
This year's festival features Mica Paris, Ed Byrne and Cara Dillon, along with a series of local theatre groups and musicians. Make sure to book in advance for the last night party too; the Queens of Rock will be paying tribute to female rock legends and powerhouse vocalists of the last four decades to create the ultimate party atmosphere.
Make time to explore the bustling cobbled market square too; it is fringed by shops offering local foods, speciality gifts and arts and crafts.
