Londesborough Park offers the ideal setting to spot Red Kites flying gracefully above the Yorkshire Wolds.
Although these magnificent birds can be seen almost anywhere in this part of the country, Red Kites tend to prefer estates or parkland like Londesborough Park which provides a good source of food with mature trees for roosting and nesting.
Dating back to medieval times, Londesborough Park once formed the grounds of a manor house, now it is a formerly landscaped park of pastures woodland and lake. The park is the perfect place for a picnic and an afternoon stroll with plenty of opportunity for nature lovers to experience the wildlife up close.
