Salivate at the television chef and fish fanatic Rick Stein’s Falmouth restaurant. It’s a must-do for foodies.
Rick Stein has spent years extolling the virtues of British fish on our TV screens so it made perfect sense for him to open a traditional fish restaurant in the Cornish port town of Falmouth. Fish-and-chips is the hero dish of the menu – choose from cod, haddock, local hake, monkfish or John Dory – and enjoy it in the family-friendly restaurant, or as a takeaway treat on the harbour front.
You can also sample seafood dishes from moules marinière to grilled lobster, all washed down with a glass of English fizz or a pint of Chalky’s Bite and Chalky’s Bark (named after Rick’s beloved dog.) And as you’d expect, all the produce is fresh, seasonal and proudly Cornish.
