Suffolk’s connection to the water is apparent throughout the county: from the inspiring views of the River Stour immortalised by Constable to the Broads National Park in the north of the county, not forgetting 60 miles of beautiful coastline within the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

To enjoy the water from a different perspective, youngsters will love the thrill of a speedy trip on the Coastal Voyager from Southwold Harbour, while grow- ups can relax on the more genteel sailing barge, SB Victor, which operates a number of cruises from its berth at the Old Customs House in Ipswich Dock. Alternatively, hire a Dutch barge or take to the water in a kayak.
