Recapture days of old at Old Hall Farm

Ulverston, Cumbria

Take a trip to this historic open working farm and see many different activities throughout the farming year.

Old Hall Farm aims to provide unique experiences in a traditional working environment set in the idyllic Lake District. Visitors can get up close to traditional 19th century farm life and see the land worked by heavy horses and steam engines.

You can also plough alongside Jim Elliot, thirty-seven times British ploughing champion using period machinery and methods now seldom seen or you can drive steam engines and tractors to work the land. Manual labour, old techniques and sheer hard work is the key to what makes this historic farm tick.
