Rare plants at Borde Hill Garden

Brighton & Hove, East Sussex

Embrace the colours of summer at the historic Borde Hill Garden.

No fewer than 200 acres of historical parkland can be explored here with distinctive garden living ‘rooms’ including the Azalea ring; sub-tropical dells; and Rose and Italian Gardens. The Paradise Walk provides access to the Italian Gardens, Round Dell and Old Potting Sheds.

Borde Hill has more than 70 Champion trees which are the tallest or largest girth in Britain.

The kids will enjoy the adventure playground and the Tree Trail, which teaches them all about the habitat. There is also a range of family-friendly events throughout the year.

Be sure to leave time to explore the contemporary arts and crafts in Green Tree Gallery, showcasing the work of more than 50 local artists.
