The National Memorial Arboretum is the UK’s year-round centre of Remembrance and home to over 350 memorials, including the nationally important Armed Forces Memorial which was dedicated in the presence of Her Majesty The Queen in 2007.
A growing, living tribute, the 150-acre site features around 30,000 trees along with an abundance of wildlife. Throughout the year the Arboretum hosts around 250 events including Remembrance services, memorial dedications, seasonal fairs, Christmas activities, outdoor cinema and a summer proms. There is also a strong programme of family activities, guided walks and tours, and relevant exhibitions for visitors to enjoy. In March 2017 His Royal Highness the Duke of Cambridge opened a new Remembrance Centre with contemporary new visitor facilities.
