Nightly summer bandstand concerts and weekly fireworks

Eastbourne, East Sussex

The UK’s busiest bandstand on Eastbourne’s seafront offers nightly concerts from pop to rock throughout summer, with a weekly firework crescendo.

The iconic 1930s Eastbourne Bandstand is a stunning monument on Eastbourne seafront, the perfect venue for a summer evening concert.

The busiest bandstand in the UK boasts weekly firework displays as the finale to Tchaikovsky’s 1812 overture concert, and a wide range of uncanny rock and pop tributes, from Abba, Blondie, Bruno Mars and many more.

Big Band nights take you back to the bandstand’s original era, while Gilbert & Sullivan nights bring musical variety and families love Kids Party Nights with High School Musical and Grease style fun.

More traditional silver and brass band concerts feature on ‘Traditional Sunday Afternoons’, whilst Sunday nights bring musical diversity, from opera to proms and Cuban Salsa to Swinging Sixties nostalgia.
