Housed in a series of shipping containers on Gaol Ferry Steps you’ll find florists, cafes, restaurants… even famous festival hairdressers Shambarber!

If you’re looking for great places to eat, foodie residents include Small St Espresso, which already has a popular café in the Old City, and Chicken Shed, the latest venture from Michelin-starred chef Josh Eggleton, serving organic roasted chicken, with a balcony overlooking the harbour. There’s also Bristol Cider Shop, which has moved from The Christmas Steps to make space for more cider tasting sessions, and Woky Ko, the first Bristol venture for Chinese chef and former Masterchef finalist, Larkin Cen.

Don't forget to visit all the other amazing places that have sprung up recently in the wider Wapping Wharf area, incuding ethical supermarket and cafe Better Food, Bertha's Pizza restaurant and hot new bar, Wild Beer Co.
