Hold onto your helmets as one of the best sporting events in May rolls into Yorkshire for the early May bank holiday weekend.
Follow male and female teams from all over the world at this four-day event starting on 2 May in Doncaster, cycling past the rural towns of Pocklington and Beverley before sprinting to the finish line in Selby, where the winner will be awarded the leader’s jersey.
Two more stages take the riders through famous Yorkshire locations like Scarborough and Barnsley, before the final and most grueling stage (known as the Yorkshire Classic) sees a climactic race from Halifax to Leeds. Get a front row spot at the finish line and help cheer the exhausted riders home!
The Tour de Yorkshire 2019 takes place between 2-5 May.
