At The Cookery School, a small house on the Lucknam Park estate, master chef Hrishikesh Desai teaches students how to create the bright, flavourful food, that’s so popular on the streets of India.
In the state-of-the-art kitchen you’ll learn how to use Indian spices to create authentic food from simple, locally-sourced ingredients; in fact, produce from the kitchen garden at Lucknam Park is often used in the dishes.
At the end of this one-day course you’ll have a whole host of recipes ready to trot out and try on your friends back home – from samosas to pav bhajis and simple puffy rice. You’ll also probably have a queue of mates eager to sample your handiwork...
