Visit the Jane Austen Centre and see a new waxwork which creates a lifelike portrayal of what Jane Austen would have looked like; explore what life was like in Regency times; and take a break in the Regency Tea Rooms while enjoying a delicious cake or savoury snack.  

Fans of the famous author will also love the city’s annual Jane Austen Festival with a packed calendar of events, including the spectacular Grand Regency Costumed Promenade in which over 500 people take part. This year's event takes place between 14-23 September, and a full list of events can be found online.
