Does your childhood invoke memories of freshly baked homemade bread? Allow a Leicester-based artisan to teach you how to raise the perfect loaf.
Baking is a fun, therapeutic life skill which has been invigorated in recent years.
If you think your baking skills need a helping hand, visit the Belgrave Hall to tackle a four-hour, hands-on class and learn the practicalities and principles of making 3 types of delicious bread.
You will also hear about different flours and grains, what yeast to use, nutritional and historical facts about bread, and undoubtedly there’ll be lots of bready chat.
Roll up your sleeves and try it. In between getting sticky and floury there’s lots of time for tastings and refreshments. Course notes, aprons and all materials are provided so all you need to bring is an appetite! You’ll even get a goody bag to take home to get you started.
Classes take place throughout the year and overnight cookery breaks for two are available at a local 4 star hotel.
