Stockton International Riverside Festival is four days of street theatre, circus, dance, music and more to inspire, entertain and make you laugh.
Since the first Stockton International Riverside Festival (SIRF) in August 1988, the party has grown in popularity to become one of Europe’s finest outdoor arts and street theatre festivals.
For four days each year, the streets and public places of Stockton, northeast England, are transformed into an arena for outstanding shows, from large-scale spectacular events to intimate experiences, wall-to-wall street theatre, circus, dance, music and pyrotechnics, all delivered by world-class artists and performers who respond to their environment and absorb and involve their audiences. Unpredictable, vibrant, spectacular, challenging, moving, beautiful, exotic and transformative – SIRF is one not to miss, so join the party!
Stockton is 3 hours 40 minutes from London by train.
