Inspired by the famous Edinburgh event, the Ventnor Fringe brings all varieties of arts to the Isle of Wight.
The Fringe showcases established and emerging talent from across the performing arts, visual arts, music, comedy and film. It’s an inspiring collaboration between artists, promoters, venues and members of the public.
An informal and welcoming atmosphere for artists and audiences alike, it’s set against the fabulous Victorian seaside resort town of Ventnor where the beach is never too far away. A variety of contrasting venues are used, from churches and yurts in the woods, to bands performing gigs in shop windows – showcasing the town as well as the talent.
The resulting event makes for a fantastic blend of a metropolitan arts festival with the more traditional sort of music festival that the Isle of Wight is famed for.
