Head northwards this spring as a barrage of musical acts descends on Newcastle upon Tyne’s city centre.
Hit The North festival promises an all-out assault on Newcastle’s music scene. Boasting dozens of different musical acts, the urban festival will take over 14 of the city’s venues, both large and small.
The festival is described as a celebration of emerging bands and musicians, with local and international talent taking the stages. Its broad theme also means Hit The North isn’t restricted to a particular genre. Folk bands, hip hop acts, Indiepop, rock and R&B will all be represented.
Hit The North Festival takes place 28 April. This year’s headliners include Slaves, Nothing But Thieves and Lethal Bizzle.
