Explore stunning English Gardens in the Heart of Devon

Across the Heart of Devon you'll find some beautiful gardens, whether it's National Trust properties or hidden gems, the Heart of Devon has it all.

Follow the University of Exeter Sculpture Trail, which has a fine collection of sculptures on display by distinguished artists such as Barbara Hepworth, Paul Mount and Geoffrey Clark; some are in University buildings and others in the beautiful grounds.

The Northernhay Gardens in Exeter incorporates a good stretch of Roman wall and the only length of Saxon town wall to be seen in England, or enjoy a stroll around Killerton House and Gardens which are surrounded by beautiful parkland in one of the most beautiful Devonshire countryside settings. The Bicton Park Garden is set in the lovely countryside near the South Devon Coast and dates back 300 years, and be sure to pay a visit to Burrow Farm Gardens near Axminster, a beautifully landscaped ten acre garden created over the last forty years by Mary Benger.
