Experience a weekend of music, arts and comedy at the south-west’s most iconic farm, where festival-goers have been flocking since the seventies.
When it comes to music festivals, Glasto is the granddaddy of them all. Every year (bar those when the land is ‘rested’), around 175,000 people armed with tents, deck chairs and designer wellies, spend the weekend listening to the biggest names in music – which have included The Rolling Stones, Jay Z and Coldplay in recent years.
Keep your eyes peeled: aside from the on-stage action, you may end up rubbing shoulders (or sharing a toilet queue) with celebrities, musicians and even royalty. Prince Harry was spotted here in 2013, although somehow, we doubt that his maj’ had to brave the Portaloo line...
Alongside world-class music, poetry and other distractions, the food here is awesome, too. Don’t forget to try a spicy beanburger.
This year's lineup includes Muse, Adele, Foals, Beck and Jeff Lynne's ELO.
Glastonbury Festival takes place from 22 to 26 June.
