Have a whale of a time with the family in Brighton and Hove

Brighton & Hove, East Sussex

Enjoy a family holiday with a difference by taking the children to Whalefest at the Brighton Centre.

Over 30 years ago whale hunts were banned. This historic meeting took place in Brighton so it is only fitting that the city now hosts Whalefest, the largest event of its kind in the world.

Whalefest, which takes place in March, has grown each year and will now take place at the Brighton Centre, the only venue large enough to accommodate it. The festival has lots of things to do with kids including virtual whale watching, celebrity speakers, turtle-cam and the shark zone.

The Festival is a fantastic opportunity for all the family to get to know more about the magnificent creatures who live under our seas and will inspire future generations to help protect these beautiful animals.
