Wwoofing in the Eden Valley is a chance to get your hands dirty and learn about organic food, farming, and ways of life on a real life working farm.
It’s back to basics wwoofing at Drybeck Farm. The farm sits in the beautiful Eden Valley, alongside the meandering River Eden, there is a small orchard, a vegetable plot and pasture for grazing. The farm has rare breed pigs, poultry and cattle and two heavy horses.
The setting is idyllic the perfect place to wwoof. There are opportunities to learn and develop practical life skills during a stay. These include, hedge laying, livestock care particularly poultry and pigs, gardening for food production, jam and chutney making, harvesting and storing home grown food, making bread and much more.
