Go snowdrop spotting in Wiltshire

Swindon, Wiltshire

Discover snowdrops and more as you wander through the grounds of the pretty Lydiard Park this winter.

Located on the outskirts of Swindon, Lydiard Park offers beautiful winter walks in the formal parkland of this former country estate.

During February, look out for the pretty snowdrops dotted in the woodlands and lawns around the park. Take in the fresh air walking around the tranquil lake and rolling lawns, and enjoy the vistas looking across to the Palladian Lydiard House. Be sure to pack your walking shoes as there are 260 acres to explore.

For children, there's also a large playground located beside the cafe, and to top it off, a visit to Lydiard Park is free.

Spend longer in the area and make time to visit Avebury Stone Circle, a short drive from Lydiard Park.
