At Whipsnade Zoo you can stay in a Lookout Lodge right beside the rhino enclosure.
The zoo’s purpose-built wooden cabins are cosy and fully equipped for two to spend an atmospheric night among the animals. Now that’s a glamping weekend away that you’ll be talking about for a while…
Your evening starts with a safari tour followed by a barbeque in front of the tiger enclosure. After dinner, you’ll be led by torchlight back to your lodge, looking out for who’s still awake along the way. Watch out for bats flying overhead! Then you can spend the evening relaxing in the campsite on your own veranda, listening to the sounds of the wildlife.
And in the morning, following breakfast, you’ll get a private tour of the zoo before it’s opened up to all the other visitors.
