December events: Get in the spirit at the Lincoln Christmas Market

Lincoln's Cathedral Quarter is taken over by stalls, entertainers and seasonal themes for four days of festive entertainment and shopping at the famous Lincoln Christmas Market.

The Christmas season really kicks in over the first weekend of December when the annual Lincoln Christmas Market takes place.

Set in the Lincoln Castle grounds, around Lincoln Cathedral and through the rest of the Cathedral Quarter, the Christmas Market is four unique days of festive entertainment and shopping.

Soak up the atmosphere as you browse over 250 stalls selling food, drink and gifts perfect for Christmas, and take a ride on the big wheel for stunning views over historic Lincoln and into the Lincolnshire countryside. If the kids are in tow, make sure to visit the snowy setting in St Paul in the Bail where they can post their letters to Santa in The Christmas Postbox.
