Get lost in Wistow Maze's three miles of pathways

Wistow, Leicestershire

Pay a summer visit to the famous Wistow Maze, shops, gallery and model village at the Rural Centre and explore the surrounding countryside.

If you need a fun excuse for exercise, follow the masses to Wistow Maze, where in a sleepy hamlet you’ll discover an award-winning family attraction.

In past years, the maze and sunflower maze has taken the form of a dinosaur, space rocket, galleon, witch and, most recently, the boar, King Richard III’s emblem. Guess what theme will be next?

See if you can find 12 quiz boards among the three miles of pathways. With 10ft high bridges and towers to climb too, it’s energetic fun for all ages and gets the brain cells ticking too.

Enter the maze as often as you want, and be challenged by a selection of mini mazes, puzzles and games in the Activity Funyard. Cross the road to the thriving Rural Centre’s cafe bistro, gallery and shops or explore numerous country walks around St Wistan’s Church and the Grand Union Canal.
