Get Footloose on a theatre trip to YMCA Theatre

The theatre is renowned for its year-round repertoire which has widened in recent years to include plays, ballets and musicals.

For a community-minded theatre trip in Yorkshire, check out The YMCA Theatre. Established in 1846, it entertains with its novel productions throughout the year, including an Easter show by its own production company, YMCA Productions. This year the classic rock ‘n’ roll musical Footloose is sure to lift everyone’s spirits.

A number of local organisations perform at the theatre, performing everything from traditional’ ballets to laugh-a-minute pantomimes.

The YMCA is a registered charity, run by local people to serve the local community and their focus is on providing support and opportunities to young people and the community and in turn, is supported by tourists.
